Cast top Snuff Box with a cast floral thumb piece and engine turned engraving on the sides and base. The base having a blank cartouche. A gilt interior marked inside the lid and base. The cast top depicts “Newstead Abbey”.

Cowrie Shell Box with silver mounts and lid. The lid engraved with the contemporary name “WM. READ” and the Read Family Coat-of-Arms. Marked “R.F” twice, once on the inside of the lid and once on the flange.
